Natixis has signalled a bigger focus on working capital products with the appointment of Pierre Dempere as the bank’s first head of working capital solutions.
A spokesperson for the French lender told GTR the position “has been created to enhance the bank’s capabilities in providing tailored solutions in working capital management and global trade finance, addressing increasing client demands in these areas”.
Dempere will be responsible for managing the bank’s receivables, payables and inventory finance offerings, and Natixis said his appointment “aims to strengthen its competitive position in the market”.
Dempere reports to Vincent Lauras, Natixis’ global head of trade solutions, who previously oversaw the product suite.
Before joining Natixis, Dempere was head of receivables and payables finance for Société Générale Factoring.
