François-Xavier Reignier joined MUFG on January 4, 2016 as the new head of structured trade finance in the Emea region.

Reignier has over 14 years of experience in the field of structured finance solutions for commodities producers out of 23 years at BNP Paribas. After working in Qatar, the UAE and France, Reignier was most recently based in Geneva, where he headed the oil and gas structured debt team, covering a broad product range of structured finance solutions in various countries of Emea.

In his new role, Reignier will work closely with the commodity finance team, which provides primarily short-term commodity trade finance solutions to commodities traders.
