Motoo Matsumoto is Mizuho’s new head of ECA and structured finance.
His official title is head of trade finance team no 2 – the division in the bank dedicated to medium and long-term trade finance products. (Trade finance team no 1 is responsible for short-term products and is run by Junichiro Yoshiyama.)
Matsumoto is based in Tokyo, from where he manages the bank’s 40-odd ECA staff across the globe.
He makes the move to Tokyo from Russia, where he has spent the last five years planning the bank’s Russian business strategy.
