Laurence Guguen has left ABN Amro and joined Miller’s credit and political risk insurance (CPRI) team to grow its structured trade and commodity finance offering.

Her role is focused on business development for the insurance broker’s commodities clients. She will be based in Paris.

Guguen has 17 years’ experience in advising and arranging capital solutions to corporate clients in Europe and the Americas. She joins from ABN Amro in New York, where she had held the position of head of food and agri commodities for North and Central America for seven years. Before that she was at Société Générale for 10 years – also in New York – where her roles included working in natural resources and energy financing. She started her career in Paris as an auditor at Arthur Andersen.
