Miga has announced new hires to its infrastructure and Asia teams.

Carlo Bongianni will head up Miga’s infrastructure team and be responsible for leading business development and underwriting in this sector. He previously held positions at Intesa Sanpaolo, National Power and the EBRD.

“Miga credit enhancement and political risk insurance is critical to the infrastructure sector as developing countries seek to mobilise capital to address the funding gap,” says Miga executive vice-president, Keiko Honda.

Muhamet Bamba Fall has been appointed to head Miga’s Asia hub. He started his career at Miga a decade ago, and joined its Asia hub in Singapore as senior underwriter in 2012.

The agency’s Asian hub is tasked with supporting both inbound and outbound investments in the region.
