Tim Hart is undertaking work for Lloyds TSB in London refining the bank’s trade finance proposition and setting out the simple criteria for entry to the world of structured trade. This investigation is a logical next step following the successful roll-out of the LOTS trade services front end, says Peter Sargent, formerly head of international trade finance at the bank and recently appointed director of sales for the new division of Corporate Transaction Services, as the bank begins to build both a value and volume-driven proposition in its customer offering.

Hart has previously worked at Creditanstalt (where he worked with Sargent in the early 1990s), and more recently at ABC in London.
