Lloyds Bank has promoted Ed Aldorino to managing director, head of global transaction banking (GTB), Asia.

Aldorino joined Lloyds Bank in 2013. He was originally based in London for one year before relocating to Singapore in 2014 to lead the GTB capability buildout for the Singapore branch as director of trade sales, Asia.

His 16-year career in the trade finance industry has also included positions at ANZ, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ and BACB.

Aldorino remains based in Singapore. He reports to Shivkumar Seerapu, who took on the role of CEO and country head for Lloyds Bank’s commercial banking business in the region at the end of last year.
