Mariano Urquiola has left Santander to take on the role of director at Cargill Argentina, responsible for the structuring of transactions in the Southern Cone (including Chile, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay).

He was previously head of sales for global transaction banking at Santander in New York, and relocated to Buenos Aires for his new position.

Urquiola had been at the bank since 2011, when he joined from SMBC. Santander has yet to announce a replacement.
