JLT has added three new hires to its credit, political and security risks team in Hong Kong.

Edmond Yun has been appointed divisional director while Stephen Chan and Koh Wei Jun join the team as account managers.

Yun joins JLT from Aon with over 12 years’ experience in credit, political and security risks and broking. Chan joins from Generali’s credit insurance team in Asia with over six years’ experience. Koh Wei Jun will continue to be based in JLT Hong Kong having moved from JLT’s credit and political risk team in Singapore in December 2013.

All three will report to managing director of credit, political and security risks in JLT Asia Mark Wong and CEO of JLT Speciality Asia David Lum, both based in Singapore.

“Hong Kong has been recognised by multinational corporations and financial institutions as the ideal business headquarters and financial hub,” says Wong.

“Addressing the issue of credit and political risks has become an increasingly important part of their risk management strategies.”
