JLT Specialty has opened a new credit, political and security (CPS) risks hub with JLT Independent in India.

Ketan Kale has been appointed to lead business development in the region. He joins from Marsh India, where he has spent the last seven years specialising in structured credit and political risk. He also brings more than 12 years of investment banking experience.

Nick Robson, managing director of CPS at JLT Specialty, comments on the move: “I am personally delighted that JLT CPS is represented so well in India today following our initiation of CPS activity in the sub-continent nearly 20 years ago. At JLT nothing is more important than delivering results to our clients and no one is better placed to do this in the Indian CPS market than Ketan.”
