Ace Global Markets has appointed Julian Hudson to the newly-created role of chief development officer in London.

He will be responsible for promoting Ace’s political risk and trade credit insurance products, and will oversee and co-ordinate the group’s distribution strategy across three product groups. He will report to the head of Ace’s product line, Julian Edwards.

Hudson moves back to London having spent over seven years in Singapore as regional manager, political and credit risk at Ace. He will be replaced by Steve Capon, who moves from London to Singapore. Capon will also continue in his previous role of head of country and credit risk management, political risks and credit.
