Ex-TFC Brokerage managing director Mark Cooper has resurfaced as Howden Broking Group’s new global director of structured credit and political risk.

Cooper left TFC in April 2011 after setting up the company in Hong Kong.

He has more than 15 years’ experience in the Asian market and more than 25 years’ experience in the credit industry at companies including AIG and Alexander Forbes.

“I am delighted that we have been able to secure Mark’s services,” says Tim Coles, chief executive officer of Howden.

“He is a well-known figure in the global credit and sovereign risks field and brings a real wealth of knowledge and expertise to our global wholesale practice.

“Mark will be based in our Hong Kong office and will work with clients across the world to further enhance our capabilities and the services that we can offer.”

Cooper adds: “I am excited to have joined such a dynamic organisation as Howden.”
