Jorim Schraven has been appointed as the manager of FMO’s credit department.

He started the new position on July 1, after having spent the last five years managing the Dutch development bank’s financial institutions Africa team. Diana Wesselius replaces Schraven in this role. She was previously in charge of the bank’s energy team for Latin America and Southern and East Africa.

Wesselius tells GTR: “I’m excited to now get involved in the development of the financial sector in Africa – a sector which is at the base of the economic development of the continent and in which FMO intends to play a leading role, ensuring the development in the longer term is both sustainable and inclusive, and at the same time facilitating innovative financing solutions.”
