Tawreeq Holdings has appointed Sinan Ozcan as its new director of payables and structured finance.

Ozcan will be responsible for supporting Tawreeq, a shariah-compliant supply chain finance solutions provider, to expand across new regional markets, especially in light of growing Mena trade.

Ozcan has over 16 years of experience working in key positions across various industries, focused on the areas of finance, treasury management and structured trade finance solutions. This includes five years at capital goods company CNH Industrial. In 2013 he became the first ever overseas representative of the UK Export Finance (UKEF) based in Istanbul when he was appointed regional director of Europe, Mena and Central Asia. He held the role for close to two years.

“His background provides first-hand insight and knowledge of corporate requirements and their financial needs, in line with Tawreeq’s focus in tailoring the needed solutions to its clients,” reads a statement issued by the company.
