Roger Tremain, head of Deutsche Bank’s UK trade and risk services, is retiring from the bank. Tremain has spent nearly 40 years in banking, most of them in trade-related roles.

After working for Nedbank in London and South Africa, he joined Deutsche Bank’s UK trade department in 1977. At Deutsche, he developed the bank’s UK trade expertise, spending almost 25 years in various trade functions only interrupted by spending four years in Melbourne and Sydney where he set up the bank’s trade finance activities in Australia.

Following his retirement, Tremain’s responsibilities will be covered by Russell Brown, head of sales, trade and risk services UK. Simon Sayer continues to be regional head of the bank’s trade finance division in the UK.
