Ted Giletti has left Standard Chartered Bank in London, where he was head of structured trade finance for Africa and the Middle East for several years. He is returning to the US for family reasons and to set up a trade finance consultancy business.

Anil Dua has taken over Giletti’s responsibilities for Africa, while the financier responsible for Middle East structured trade is being finalised. Paul Champagne, global head of structured trade finance, says: “It has been on the cards for a while that Ted would be moving back to his family in the US and we shall most likely be doing business together in his new capacity. Ted will be missed. He was a major contributing factor to the success of our structured trade team at the bank.”
