Global brokerage BGC Insurance has appointed Kostya Zolotusky to head up its newly-launched aviation industry financial solutions division.

Based in Seattle, Zolotusky will report to Bruce Fine, the division’s president, and will hold the title of managing partner.

Zolotusky joins the firm following 34 years with Boeing, where he most recently served as managing director of capital markets and leasing for Boeing Capital Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary that is primarily responsible for arranging, structuring and providing financing for Boeing products and services.

Before this assignment, he worked in Boeing Capital’s aircraft financial services group as a senior director covering European airlines. In this position, Zolotusky structured aircraft financing for Boeing Commercial Airplanes’ European customers. Before joining Boeing Capital in June 2000, he was sales director of European and leasing company sales for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, as well as other leadership roles in the aviation giant’s commercial airplanes sales, marketing and engineering organisations.

Speaking about Zolotusky’s appointment, Fine says: “Kostya brings the vital skillset and experience needed to ensure our continued growth in the sector. His time at Boeing equipped him with extensive knowledge of aircraft finance markets, having developed and led new aircraft finance solutions and businesses.”
