Barclays Corporate has expanded its senior team with four appointments in the banks’ cash and trade operation.

Baihas Baghdadi has been promoted internally as head of international trade origination from Barclays Spain where he served as head of Barclays Corporate products.

Before joining the bank, he worked at Fortis Bank Spain and Portugal for almost five years as head of trade finance and head of specialised financial services.

Also transferring from Barclays Spain is Jeroen Stolker who will take the role of head of international business development for trade.

Stolker has previously served at Citi in both London and Spain.

John Traynor joins the bank as head of international cash sales and global client segment.

Traynor comes from ABN Amro, where he was most recently head of global transaction sales for North America, managing sales, product management, implementation and customer service.

He has also worked at regional banks in the US to build their cash management business.

Giles Herman joins the bank as global head of financial institutions trade.

Herman has over 13 years of experience, including serving at HSBC.
