Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ has named Yoshitake Manabe as head of its Asia and Oceania corporate banking business.

Based in Singapore, he will be responsible for all corporate banking activities, as well as financial institutions business. Among his areas of expertise, gleaned from 30 years in the industry, is structured finance.

He was most recently co-head of the Emea corporate banking business, along with Sébastien Rozès.

Manabe reports to CEO for the region Takayoshi Futae, who says: “We expect increasing cross-border trade flows and investments in this region and we will leverage on MUFG’s diverse international network and established franchise to better serve the global corporates as they expand their business here in Asia.”
