Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BofAML) has appointed two new regional heads of trade and supply chain finance in its global transaction services (GTS) business.

Peter Jameson has moved from London to Hong Kong to take up the role of Asia Pacific head of trade and supply chain finance. He replaces Aziz Parvez, who was recently appointed the bank’s Asia head of corporate sales.

Jameson was previously BofAML’s co-head of product management for Emea GTS, where he was responsible for commercial card and trade and supply chain finance in the region.

In his new role he reports to Faisal Ameen, head of GTS Asia Pacific, and Geoff Brady, head of global trade and supply chain finance, who joined from JP Morgan earlier in the year.

Before starting at BofAML in 2011, Jameson spent 12 years at Citi in a number of roles within transaction services.

Meanwhile, Baris Kalay has been appointed Emea head of trade and supply chain finance, in London. His previous role at the bank was head of supply chain finance product solutions for GTS Emea.

In his new role, Kalay leads the product sales and management and risk distribution teams, covering corporate and institutional clients in developed and emerging markets. He reports to Matthew Davies, head of GTS Emea.

Kalay started his banking career at Yapi ve Kredi Bankasi in 1999. Having worked in various financial institutions in Turkey, the Netherlands and Russia, he joined BofAML in 2011, and since then has held various roles in Istanbul, Dubai and London.
