Financial services group Baft-IFSA announced its newly-elected board for 2014/15 at its annual meeting in London last week.
The organisation also announced that it has officially changed its name to Baft, the Bankers’ Association for Finance and Trade.

Rita Gonzalez, HSBC USA managing director was re-elected as board chair for a second term.

“The challenges ahead of us are undiminished and as the voice of the industry, Baft will continue to play an important role in ensuring standards for global documentation for trade loans, supporting best industry practices on KYC, leading advocacy, and strengthening our global education and training programmes,” Gonzalez says.

Newly elected board officers include:
