Compliance and risk management solution provider AxiomSL has opened an office in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).

Headed by Tariq Hajwane (pictured) as head of business development for the Middle East and Africa, the new office will give it more flexibility to respond to the needs of its regional clients as regulatory pressure grows.

Ed Royan, chief operating officer, Emea, explains: “We regularly review our global structure to ensure that we are able to serve our clients wherever they need our services. The timing is right for an office launch in Dubai as we are seeing growth opportunities in the region.”

AxiomSL provides calculation, data management and regulatory reporting solutions. It has offices in New York, São Paulo, London, Paris, Brussels, Luxembourg, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Singapore, Beijing, Hong Kong and Tokyo, employing over 600 people overall.
