Compliance software company Accuity has made a number of changes to its senior management team.

Sean Norris has been appointed head of sales, Emea and Asia Pacific. He was previously managing director for Asia Pacific and has worked in various management roles with the company around the Emea region since joining Accuity in 2007. He will be based in London, having been most recently based in Singapore.

In his time with Accuity, Norris has overseen the launch of offices in Tokyo, Hong Kong and Mumbai. He replaces Jeremy Bowen. Bowen has moved to FlightGlobal, an online aviation information provider and a sister company of Accuity, to become vice-president and global head of sales.

Bharath Vellore fills Norris’ former role as managing director for Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. He has spent six years with Accuity since joining from Dow Jones. He previously worked with Yes Bank, ICICI Bank and Tata Consulting.

Vellore managed Accuity’s recent collaboration with R3’s Corda, which integrates Accuity’s software with blockchain technology.

Hugh Jones, Accuity CEO, says: “I congratulate Sean and Bharath as they take up their new roles. Their ascent within Accuity is testament to our commitment to supporting and developing our people around the world and serving our global customer community.”
