Trevor Barton has left international law firm Clyde & Co after 14 years – including six spent in St Petersburg – to join The PBN Company as London head.

PBN is a strategic communications, public affairs and government relations consultancy which specialises in advising companies doing business in the markets of the former Soviet Union, and in assisting companies from that region coming to the west. In other words, the firm “helps businesses investing or moving in each direction to develop strategies for success”.

The company’s headquarters are in Washington, DC. In addition to the London office, which I am now heading, we have long-established and substantial offices in Moscow (13 years, 45 staff), Kiev and Riga.

Barton remains on the board of directors of the Russo-British Chamber of Commerce and a member of the CIS Advisory Group of International Financial Services, London.
