Linklaters emerging markets and trade finance capability has been bolstered following a number of recent developments. These include the expansion of the London-based practice, the strengthening of the group’s global team, and increased recognition in the market for advice on high profile deals.

The emerging markets and trade finance work in London is led by banking partners John Tucker (global head of banking), Jeremy Stokeld, Phillip Spittal, Charles Dunn and Stephen Lucas. The growing team of lawyers in this area has been enhanced by senior associate Mirthe van Kesteren who joined the group in June from Clifford Chance.

She specialises in structured trade finance and emerging markets, acting for banks as well as borrowers.
