Turkey’s Doğus Holding has mandated Citibank London and Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking (SG CIB) as initial mandated lead arrangers and bookrunners to arrange and underwrite a US$300mn syndicated term loan facility. Citi will be the facility agent and SG CIB documentation agent.

The facility, Doğus Holding’s first five-year transaction, will be used for general corporate purposes as well as for the trade finance requirements of the borrower’s subsidiaries.

This will refinance the US$100mn two-year facility arranged in September 2005 and replaces that deal as the company’s core relationship transaction going forward. The new five-year term loan comes with a margin of 1.325 % per year and a bullet repayment profile.

Syndication of the facility was launched on June 20, 2007 to a group of relationship banks.
