Boutique trade and project finance insurance brokers TFC Brokerage has announced that its Hong Kong managing director Mark Cooper has left the firm.

Cooper was also representing TFC’s Singaporean operation.

“We are considering a number of options for the management of our insurance activity and subject to regulatory approval, the group will announce a new management strategy for its insurance business in due course,” the brokerage said in a statement.

Cooper was appointed managing director in Q3 2006 when David Sullivan, chairman of Trade Finance Corporation, set up the brokerage.

The company has not explained why Cooper left, but has stated that his departure comes “with immediate effect”.
