Asif Raza has been made head of Asia trade for JPMorgan Treasury Services based in Singapore. He is responsible for origination, sales, product management, insurance, distribution activities and to continue business growth in Asia Pacific. Raza has been involved in Asia trade for a number of years.


He leads a team of trade professionals specialised in trade relationship management, risk mitigation strategies, logistic management, new trade finance and emerging payment channel instruments to provide integrated solutions to financial institution and corporate clients.


Given Raza’s strong background in the global supply chain, he will prioritise expanding JPMorgan Vastera’s franchise in the Asia Pacific region.
Previously, Raza was head of trade sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa for the firm’s global network trade business in London. Before that he was at JPMorgan’s New York office, managing various trade teams.


Before joining JPMorgan, Raza worked for American Express Bank, New York where he was responsible for marketing correspondent banking products to US banks and trade finance solutions to US corporations.
