Deutsche Bank has appointed Low Yang Sun as head of trade finance and cash management corporates for Singapore within its Global Transaction Banking (GTB) division.



Low will be based in Singapore, reporting directly to Thomas DuCharme, regional head of trade finance and cash management corporates, Asia.
“In leading the strategic growth plans for Deutsche Bank’s trade finance and cash management corporates franchise in Singapore, Yang Sun will focus on target market expansion and further product roll-outs. These will be executed against an aggressive strategic plan that aims to promote effective teamwork within GTB’s trade and cash businesses,” says DuCharme.



Yang Sun joins with over 17 years of banking experience, with his most recent role being the Head of Payment and Cash Management for HSBC in Singapore. He was responsible for the overall cash management strategy business for HSBC in the country and his role encompassed the product, sales and client management functions. He holds a Bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA.
DuCharme adds: “I am confident that Yang Sun’s appointment will generate the momentum that is needed to bring his team to the next level as they work to provide innovative trade and cash solutions to meet our customers’ requirements.”
