James Pearson has been appointed to drive ABN Amro’s corporate finance business in Asia and help the bank develop its overall franchise in the region. He will report to Jeroen Drost, global head of corporate finance advisory.

Re-joining ABN after three and a half years with Morgan Stanley, Pearson has significant investment banking experience and has led many notable transactions for Asian and multinational clients during his 11 years in Asia.

In addition, John Moore will return to Hong Kong to head ABN Amro’s M&A activities within corporate finance. Moore is the head of equity capital markets for ABN in New Zealand, and has broad experience in both M&A and ECM.
