The Korea Gas Corporation (Kogas) has signed the US$356mn refinancing of three LNG carriers with a syndicate of banks.

Lead arrangers on the facility are Banc of America Leasing & Capital, ANZ, Crédit Industriel et Commercial and Scotiabank Asia. Bank of America led the syndicate as agent and security trustee and bookrunner.

Law firm Watson, Farley & Williams (WFW), advised the lenders on the financing documents, the project documents and sponsor support issues.

The three LNG carriers were built in 2000 and are operating under long-term contracts of affreightment with Kogas.
