Deutsche Bank has taken on Thomas DuCharme as regional head of trade finance and cash management corporates, Asia Pacific.
Werner Steinmueller, head of global transaction banking, comments: “This newly created role within Global Transaction Banking will enable a further alignment of our cash and trade businesses in Asia Pacific. Thomas’s formidable track record and in-depth industry knowledge provides an excellent basis on which to further raise our profile in the corporate sector and increase the market penetration of our already well established and successful franchise.”
DuCharme joins Deutsche from Citigroup where he spent the past 15 years and most recently held the position of corporate sales head for Asia Pacific, Global Transaction Services.
Before that, he held senior positions at Citibank’s regional cash product management in Asia and trade services in New York.
Based in Singapore, DuCharme reports to Reinhard Uhl, head of trade finance and cash management corporates, Global Transaction Banking, and on a regional level to Roger Harrold, regional head of global transaction banking, Asia Pacific (excluding Japan).
