JPMorgan Treasury Services has announced that Alexander Caviezel has been named Treasury Services’ regional executive for the Asia Pacific region. Caviezel assumes the role previously held by Steven Groppi who, earlier this year, moved to <

  • xml:namespace prefix = st1 />London to take responsibility for JPMorgan Treasury Services’ business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, in addition to his continued oversight of the Asia Pacific region. Caviezel will relocate from London to Hong Kong in September.

    Caviezel brings significant international business knowledge and extensive experience to his new appointment. Beginning his career with Chase Manhattan Bank in Germany in 1983 as an internal auditor, he moved into a corporate finance function with Chase in Zurich. Thereafter, Caviezel moved to the bank’s Geneva branch taking over structured trade finance and then the position of general manager of JPMorgan’s Swiss branch entities. Most recently he held the position of business manager for treasury services in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, prior to taking up his dual roles in trade and global product management.
