The Brazilian government has announced Luciano Coutinho as the new president of BNDES, the country’s development bank. He is replacing Demian Fiocca, who is likely to head a high-profile post within the Brazilian government.

 

Coutinho is an economist with a major from Universidade de So Paulo, concluded in 1968. He owns a consultancy and was an economics professor at Campinas University in Brazil.
