Misys Wholesale Banking Systems (Misys) has signed a new partnership agreement with Stefanini IT Solutions, one of the leading IT consultancies in South America. The contract covers the distribution and development of Misys’ financial software solutions and professional services across Brazil.
Under the terms of the agreement, Stefanini have the right to sell, implement and support a range of Misys products, including Trade Innovation, MidasPlus, OPICS and Misys Message Manager. Leveraging Stefanini’s extensive knowledge of Brazilian banking requirements, the solutions will be localised for the Brazilian market, in line with customer requirements, and sold as part of the Misys offering for Brazil. A Stefanini team will also be trained to provide first-level customer support for the Misys solutions.
Following an extensive investigation of potential partner opportunities in the market, Misys’ choice of Stefanini was based on three key aspects of their business: extensive local knowledge, a market reputation for integrity, and recognised development quality.
Ailtom Nascimento Filho, Stefanini’s consultancy manager, comments: “This partnership represents a great opportunity for us to extend our offering in Brazil, and to apply our local banking knowledge to a new range of world-class solutions. We are also excited about the future potential this gives us to extend our own services to a more global audience, as an effective two-way partnership, and look forward to working with Misys for the foreseeable future.”
David Wright, Regional Sales Manager for Brazil at Misys, adds: “Stefanini is very well structured and placed to attend to the needs of Misys’ customers in Brazil, and most importantly to meet these needs in line with our standards. We are excited about the positive message that this partnership sends to the Brazilian financial sector, adding local expertise and knowledge to our range of financial software solutions.”
