London, United Kingdom
Nov 03-04, 2021
2 Day Event

GTR Africa 2021 returned to London on November 3-4 for a comprehensive gathering of the leading figures in Sub-Saharan trade, export, and commodity finance.

Benefitting from a special hybrid format which allowed speakers to connect and participate both onstage in-person or remotely, delegates enjoyed the flexibility to choose between that unrivalled experience of live networking and knowledge sharing or the opportunity to join virtually through our dedicated and well-established virtual event platform.

The event focused on Africa’s economic health, from the many financing challenges encountered by companies in the face of the pandemic and the role of multilaterals and DFIs in providing support, to the strains on supply chains directly and indirectly across a range of sectors, digitisation drives and ongoing efforts to reduce dependence on commodities and move African companies up the value chain.

We look forward to seeing you again in Cape Town in March 2022.

Key themes discussed:

– AfCFTA opportunities
– Infrastructure investment priorities
– Building supply chain resilience
– Sovereign debt sustainability
– Boosting hard currency liquidity
– The ESG Challenge

  • Multinationals and SMEs
  • Independent financiers
