GTR returned to Mexico City on October 8, 2018, providing a unique forum for over 170 trade and export finance leaders to discuss the future of Mexican trade.
Lively debate throughout the one-day agenda saw corporates, financiers, government bodies and trade relations experts from both Mexico and the U.S. share exclusive insights into the revised North American free trade agreement, domestic structural reform and the business climate in key industrial sectors, and the potential impact of the 2018 Mexican general elections on trade and investment.
Further discussions provided attendees with expert guidance on trade, export and working capital financing, ranging from the evolving role of ECAs to supply chain optimisation strategies for corporates, the financing tools and techniques available to Mexican exporters, and the evolving capabilities of trade fintech and blockchain technology in today’s market.
With 2018’s gathering welcoming record attendance, incorporating over 2 hours of networking throughout the day and an evening reception, GTR Mexico once again provided the ideal
meeting place for all those involved with facilitating Mexican trade.
Join the discussion on social media through the official event hashtag #GTRMEX
