Mark Wakem has been named vice-president for product solutions delivery in JP Morgan’s trade and working capital team for the Emea region.

Wakem started the role in March. Previously, he spent two years at HSBC in its export finance, issuer services team, and seven years as director at XB FinCo, an advisory services firm.

He also worked at Investec Bank for 12 years, specialising in export and agency finance.

Earlier this year, Shirish Garg was appointed head of the core trade team for the Emea region at JP Morgan Payments.
