Bolero CEO Arthur Vonchek will leave the tech firm, having fulfilled his objectives set a decade ago when he joined.

“Bolero 10 years ago was an industry initiative with little traction – I came here to stabilise the company and to create a profitable, growing organisation,” Vonchek tells GTR.

Having achieved these goals and driven Bolero to the point where it is “financially very secure”, Vonchek has deemed this a good time to step aside and bring in a new leader to take the company forward on the next stage of its journey.

Vonchek will remain as CEO until a replacement has been appointed, which he imagines will happen in the next two to four months.

He tells GTR that he is very keen to move on to his “next thing” but as he is committed to the company until the new hire, he’s not yet sure what that may be.

Vonchek joined Bolero in July 2003. He previously held vice-president positions at BroadVision, SeeCommerce and Manugistics.
