HSBC commercial banking has announced a string of changes to its senior management team.

Bryan Pascoe has been named global head of client coverage and will report to Noel Quinn, chief executive of global commercial banking (CMB). Pascoe was formerly group treasurer, finance and has held a number of senior positions within global banking and markets since joining HSBC in 1996.

Kwabena Ayirebi is returning to the UK to join the European CMB COO team, where he will report to Jonathan Moore, global COO of CMB. Ayirebi has been with HSBC for 12 years and was most recently regional head of global trade and receivables finance (GTRF) for the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region in Dubai.

Succeeding Ayirebi, Sunil Veetil has been appointed regional head of GTRF, Mena. Veetil had been the regional head of global liquidity and cash management, Mena since 2013. In his new role, Veetil will report to Natalie Blyth, global head of GTRF and Mark Stadler, regional head of CMB, Mena.

The moves follow the recent announcement that Ajay Sharma has taken on the role of regional head of GTRF, Asia Pacific, replacing Siew Meng Tan, who becomes regional head of private banking for the region.
