Vivek Batra has joined the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (BTMU) as regional head of transaction banking for Asia and Oceania.

Batra joins from DBS, where he was most recently managing director, global head of sales in transaction services. He will manage cash management and trade finance operations across 13 countries in the region, reporting to Kazumitsu Komatsu, general manager for transaction banking. He will be based in Singapore.

Batra worked with DBS for almost 12 years, previously spending eight years with HSBC’s corporate bank in India.
