Welcoming over 100 delegates, GTR’s four-hour long Iran Trade Business Briefing in London provided a perfect opportunity for regional business professionals to come together to consider Iran’s future trade prospects.

While interest levels in the country continue, sanctions, compliance and ways to develop the local banking sector are key issues being raised, with these topics being covered in detail on the day.

H.E. Hamid Baeidinejad, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the UK, provided the opening speech, followed by Rt Hon Jack Straw, co-chair of the British-Iranian parliament group, who outlined the global opportunities presented by this new market economy as well as the government’s plans to develop Iran’s international trade.
