GTR Webinar: Refocusing the gender lens for trade finance

This webinar – part of the GTR Women in Trade Finance initiative – brought together influential figures from the world of gender and trade to examine whether or not the trade ecosystem is sufficiently inclusive, and if opportunities are being seized or squandered when it comes to widening the pathways for women. It also outlined the ongoing challenges around mainstreaming gender in trade policy, including in free trade agreements, and looked at the ways that the public and private sectors can work together to implement gender-responsive trade initiatives.
