Deutsche Bank AG, London and ING have launched general syndication of a US$80mn syndicated term loan facility for Alliance Bank, Kazakhstan.

 

 

Proceeds will be used by Alliance to finance specific trade finance transactions of select clients.

 

Alliance Bank is the fifth largest bank in Kazakhstan.

 

ABN Amro, Anglo Romanian Bank, Citigroup, HSBC Bank and National Bank of Egypt (UK) have joined the facility as senior arrangers and Mashreqbank has joined as arranger before the launch of general syndication.

 

The margins are: for tranche A – 1.80% per year; for tranche B – 2.25% per year.

 

Tenors are: for tranche A – one year (with extension option); for tranche B – two years (with extension option).

 

Commitment levels and fees are as follows for trances A and B respectively: arrangers with US$7.5mn and above, 60bp and 85bp; co-arrangers with US$5mn and above, 45bp and 70bp; lead managers with US$4mn and above, 37.5bp and 62.5bp; managers with US$3mn and above, 32.5bp and 55bp; and participants with less than US$3mn, 25bp and 45bp.
