Malakut creates Middle East chief commercial officer role to drive growth 

Re/insurance broker Malakut has hired Sajith Kumar in the newly created role of chief commercial officer for the Middle East.  

Based in the firm’s Dubai headquarters, Kumar will be responsible for driving regional sales and profit growth.  

Kumar was previously managing director and chief executive of Howden UAE.  

He also spent 15 years at Marsh in a variety of senior leadership roles, including chief executive officer of Marsh Oman, and managing director and deputy chief executive of Marsh UAE.
