Freddy Boom has been named head of industrials, services and transportation for international corporates at Standard Chartered’s North American arm.

Based in New York and reporting to Michael Kruse, co-head of global banking, Americas, Boom joins the bank from JP Morgan, where he was managing director for technology, media and telecom. Prior to this, he spent 15 years with Citi.
