Standard Chartered has given a US$41mn loan to Vroon Offshore Services (VOS) in Singapore.
The company is an Asian subsidiary of Vroon Group, an international shipping company, and will use the capital to purchase two new anchor-handling tug and support vessels and to refinance its existing fleet. GTR can confirm that the loan has a tenor of seven years.
The addition of two new vessels, VOS Atlas and VOS Atlanta, brings VOS Singapore’s fleet to 19. Both are 5,150 boiler horsepower.
