Negotiations betweenPeru and Singapore over a free trade agreement have been concluded, with the FTA expected to be signed in the next few months.

The talks were brought to a close on September 4 during meetings held during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum meeting in Sydney.

According to the terms of the planned agreement, over 87% of Singapore’s exports going to Peru will be exempt from import duties, with remaining tariffs to be removed over the next decade.
