For all the efforts by states to intervene and support their private sectors, the real impact of the pandemic has been felt by smaller organisations in particular. Jan Ward of Corrotherm, Rehan Ali of National Bank of Fujairah (NBF), Christina Struller of UPS, Betül Kurtulus of FCI and Khaled Albasias of Greensill assessed the challenges SMEs and local banks face.
