Former JP Morgan head of global trade Daniel Cotti has been appointed to the board of directors at Bolero.

In his role as non-executive director, he will build partnerships with the banking and finance community to drive growth for the business.

“The world of trade finance is transforming rapidly as organisations look to technology to redefine the use of trade finance instruments and the process of settling commercial contracts,” he says.

“At what continues to be an exciting time for the industry, I am delighted to be part of the Bolero board. In my new role, I look forward to helping shape the future of trade finance and ensuring that Bolero continues to become the partner of choice in the industry.”

After leaving JP Morgan last year, Cotti set up Cotti Trade and Treasury, a trade finance and treasury management consultancy. His experience also includes trade finance positions at Citibank, ABN Amro and RBS. He is also involved with the ICC Banking Commission, Swift and Baft.
